JDM License Plate Adapter – US to JDM Fitment

Cleanly mount a US-spec license plate to your JDM vehicle with a properly engineered solution designed for correct fitment and a flush, OEM-plus appearance. This adapter bridges the size difference between US and Japanese plates without drilling, slotting, or modifying your bumper.

Each adapter is laser cut from 6061-T6 aluminum, providing excellent strength while remaining lightweight and corrosion resistant. The adapter is finished in a durable matte black powder coat for a clean, understated look that blends seamlessly with both stock and modified vehicles.

The JDM-side mounting holes are countersunk, and countersunk stainless steel T30 Torx flat-head hardware is used so the adapter sits completely flush against the mounting surface. This eliminates hardware protrusion and ensures proper alignment against the bumper.

The license plate itself is secured using stainless steel T30 Torx button-head bolts, offering a clean, low-profile appearance with strong clamping force. Torx hardware is used throughout for added security and theft deterrence compared to standard Phillips or hex fasteners.

For easy installation, the adapter features integrated press-fit threaded nuts, allowing the license plate to bolt directly to the adapter without loose or spinning hardware. A T30 Torx L-key is included, so everything needed for installation is provided out of the box.
