Professional Air Suspension Rework & Correction

Already have air suspension installed but unhappy with how it was done?

OSC Fabrication & Finishes offers air suspension rework and correction services for existing systems that need repairs, troubleshooting, cleanup, upgraded components, or a more professional installation.

Whether you're dealing with air leaks, poor wiring, badly routed air lines, improperly mounted components, or an unfinished installation, we can evaluate the existing system and determine what needs to be corrected.

Why Choose OSC Fabrication & Finishes?

Air suspension systems rely on proper plumbing, wiring, component mounting, and system setup to operate reliably.

A system may technically work while still having issues that can cause leaks, electrical problems, premature component failure, poor serviceability, or an unfinished appearance.

Our goal is to identify the problems with the existing installation and correct them in a way that improves reliability, organization, serviceability, and overall presentation.

Common Air Suspension Rework Services

Air suspension rework may include:

  • Air leak diagnosis and repair
  • Improperly sealed fitting correction
  • Air line replacement or rerouting
  • Damaged or kinked air line replacement
  • Compressor wiring correction
  • Management wiring cleanup
  • Fuse and relay correction
  • Compressor remounting
  • Air tank remounting
  • Air management remounting
  • Water trap installation or correction
  • Management system troubleshooting
  • Compressor replacement or upgrades
  • Single-to-dual compressor upgrades
  • Air tank replacement
  • Component relocation
  • Controller setup and calibration
  • General installation cleanup

Before & After: Real Air Suspension Rework

This vehicle came to us with an existing air suspension management setup that was functional, but the overall installation needed to be reworked.

The original setup had the tank, compressor, and management components mounted to a basic wood panel in the trunk. The system was redesigned and reinstalled into a cleaner and more organized trunk layout with improved component placement.

The rework included upgrading the overall management presentation, reorganizing the system, and moving to a cleaner dual-compressor configuration.

This is a good example of the type of project that does not require a complete air suspension installation from scratch. Instead, the existing system can be evaluated and reworked based on what the vehicle actually needs.

Existing Installation Review

Every rework project begins with reviewing the existing air suspension installation.

We look at the components currently installed, the issues you're experiencing, how the system was wired and plumbed, and any areas you would like improved.

Some projects may only require correcting a few specific problems, while others may require portions of the existing installation to be rebuilt.

Photos of the existing trunk setup, management system, compressors, tank, wiring, and air line routing are extremely helpful when requesting a quote.

Need Replacement or Upgraded Parts?

If the existing system requires replacement or upgraded components, OSC Fabrication & Finishes can also supply parts including:

  • Air suspension management
  • Air tanks
  • Single or dual compressors
  • Compressor wiring components
  • DOT air line
  • Fittings
  • Water traps
  • Height sensors
  • Vehicle-specific suspension components
  • Additional system accessories

Customers purchasing required replacement or upgrade components through OSC may qualify for discounted installation labor depending on the scope of the project.

Custom Management & Trunk Upgrades

A rework project can also be a good opportunity to improve the appearance and layout of an existing management system.

Available upgrades may include:

  • Custom compressor mounting
  • Custom air tank mounting
  • Fabricated brackets
  • Custom mounting panels
  • Trunk floor fabrication
  • Hidden air management
  • Hardline setups
  • Equipment relocation
  • 3D-scanned and CAD-designed mounting components

Custom fabrication and management layouts are quoted separately.

Upholstery and interior trimming services are not currently offered.

Our Process

1. Tell Us About the Problem

Let us know what issues you're currently experiencing and what you would like corrected or improved.

2. Send Photos of the Existing Installation

Photos of the trunk or cargo area, air tank, compressor setup, management system, wiring, air lines, and suspension components help us understand the existing installation before scheduling.

3. System Inspection

Once the vehicle is inspected, we can identify additional problems that may not be visible through photos alone.

4. Quote & Recommendations

We will review the required corrections, recommended replacement parts, and any optional upgrades before moving forward.

5. Rework & Testing

The agreed-upon corrections are completed, followed by system testing, leak checking, and calibration when applicable.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you fix an air suspension system installed by another shop?

Yes. Existing air suspension systems can be inspected and reworked regardless of who originally installed them.

Can you repair air leaks?

Yes. Air line, fittings, tanks, manifolds, and other potential leak sources can be inspected and corrected.

Can you clean up existing wiring?

Yes. Compressor and air management wiring can be inspected, reorganized, repaired, or replaced when necessary.

Can you upgrade my single compressor setup to dual compressors?

Yes. Dual compressor upgrades can be added depending on the existing system, electrical requirements, and available mounting space.

Can you relocate my tank or compressors?

Yes. Tank, compressor, and management relocation can be included as part of the rework project.

Can you completely redo a poorly installed system?

Yes. If the existing installation requires extensive correction, we can discuss partially or completely rebuilding the air management setup.

Do I need to purchase new parts?

Not necessarily. We will evaluate the components you already have and recommend replacement only when needed or when you would like to upgrade the system.

What if I only need a small correction?

That's fine. Rework services do not require a complete rebuild. Smaller repairs, corrections, upgrades, and partial reworks can be quoted based on the actual work required.

Pricing

Air suspension rework and correction services are quoted based on the condition of the existing installation and the work required.

Unlike a complete installation, rework projects can vary significantly in scope. One vehicle may only need a few issues corrected, while another installation may need to be partially or completely rebuilt.

Pricing may depend on factors such as:

  • Condition of the existing installation
  • Number of issues being corrected
  • Air leaks or damaged plumbing
  • Electrical repairs
  • Component relocation
  • Replacement parts
  • Compressor or tank upgrades
  • Management system changes
  • Custom fabrication
  • Custom trunk or management upgrades

Once the existing system has been reviewed, we can determine the scope of work and provide a quote.

Need Your Existing Air Suspension Setup Corrected?

Send us information about your vehicle, the air suspension system currently installed, the problems you're experiencing, and photos of the existing installation.

The more information and photos you provide, the better we can understand the condition of the system before scheduling an inspection.
